Aeration and Overseeding
Lawn aeration is the process of removing 2-3 inch plugs of soil from the ground with a specialized machine. These new spaces in the soil allow oxygen, fertilizers, and water to penetrate deep into the roots, making it stronger to help fight off weeds and disease. Lawn aeration should be on your yearly turf maintenance schedule, spring or late summer to early fall is a good time to aerate. We perform single pass or double path aeration if your lawn is really compacted.
Overseeding is best performed right after aeration with the soil being loose, it is the best environment for grass seed to grow.
